I've been dabbling in box construction recently and I've made some pretty decent builds but I stildon't quite understand how to tune my boxes to a certain Hz, can anyone help explain that process?
I think I get the concept now... Would I just want to tune my box to whatever my sub's Fs is rated at?I would use the the12volt.com they got some pretty good calculators if you know what your doing.
Subwoofer Enclosure Calculators, Fraction to Decimal, Parallel, Series, Port Length and Volume Calculators
Love the lows, but highs are nice so I stick with 12s. Do you run your systems at 1 ohm generallydepends what you like to listen to. obviously the recommended tuning for the sub is good but if your like me and like the LOWS then you might wanna make your box a little bigger than recommended and tune it a little lower. or if you want both lows and still the a bit of the highs. u can make the box a little bigger and tune it to specs.. that way your sub can move more air (with the extra space). and still retain some sq.
all amps are.....for a few minutes anyway //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gifAre there even amps that are stable at 0.5 ohms? I've never come across one
