Tsunami Voltage Help

i have this

and i hooked it up today but it says my voltage is 8.7 when i go back to the amp it says 14.05 anyone know what could be wrong?

Bad connection

I just finished running 0 gauge to my amps yesterday, powered em up, one wouldn't turn on, checked and saw it was getting ~4.5v while the other one was getting 12.5, one of the wires had come loose.

 
video and pics are up.
and when i check my wires that go to the tsunami voltage it reads the same as my amp...so i am lost lol
If the wires going directly to the display read 14, but the display reads much less, I'd say its almost definitely a defective unit
