Tsunami Voltage Help

i have this

and i hooked it up today but it says my voltage is 8.7 when i go back to the amp it says 14.05 anyone know what could be wrong?

thats odd... I've installed a few of these and they were accurate.

Bad connection

I just finished running 0 gauge to my amps yesterday, powered em up, one wouldn't turn on, checked and saw it was getting ~4.5v while the other one was getting 12.5, one of the wires had come loose.

and when i check my wires that go to the tsunami voltage it reads the same as my amp...so i am lost lol

If the wires going directly to the display read 14, but the display reads much less, I'd say its almost definitely a defective unit

**** me lol....i bought this like 4 months ago and just finally got around to hooking it up lmao.

went to lunch and disconnected the amp....meaning no remote wire attached and it still was reading 8.7

(i have my wires in my 0 to 4 gauge reducer)

no just places for pos and neg and then 4 spots for 4 different amps.

only thing i can think of would be the ground. i have never seen one of those units reason i asked is because some volt meters you have to dail it in to get anything accurate

yah, my stinger volt meter i had to dial in with a dmm for accuracy.

well i dont have the booklet anymore.....so i am not sure honestly. i cant seem to find one online either....you both have a pm

This one is accurate, at least mine is. You don't need to adjust this one. I just think its wired wrong.
