TS-W3001 Or Type R?

Well, it's time for a new sub at the end of this month, and I had thought about going with TC but well...you've all seen the thread.

Now, I'm trying to decide between the Type-R, and the Pioneer TS-W3001.

I've never owned either of those brand subs, so I'm not sure what to expect.

I like that the Pioneer can take more power, but I've heard that the Type-R can get pretty loud too. And the Pioneer has a wider Freq. Resp. range.

Anyways, if you had to choose...which one would it be?

As for an amp, that will also come at the end of the month. Haven't completely decided which one I want yet, but just as a general idea, I've been looking at the BXI1206D which puts out 1200 at 1 ohm.

I've never heard that model Pioneer but i would assume that it would be the better choice. The older pioneer model, (ts-3004spl) could easily outperform the type R in output and is a beast on the low end as well.

X2,I would take the Pioneer for the same reason/findings.Bangs lows, with great sq and loud.

BTW the Rs will handle the same power.
