ts-3004 vs. type r

which will hit the hardest with the greatest impact. Anyone out there in car audio land have the 3004. If so what can of box are you running ported or sealed. I hear of the type r all day but rarely here of anyone talking about the pioneers. and i have tried the search button. not much info.

can't go wrong with either one...

each will take up to 1K easy and will be loud and sound good doing it...

flip a coin...

i really liked my tsw3k's, they got freckin loud off 800 rms each...

I would go with the tsw3k's cause that is what i have used... but the type r is supossed to be a great sub too.

I'd go with the 3k's...I used to have them, and they were loud and can take a beating all day long, def. go ported for the box, i believe with that one i had it tuned to 36hz, can't quite remember, just look at the specs.

yeah...give each one 2 to 2.5 cubes tuned to mid 30's and she should wang like a mofo!!

i felt i was kinda sufficating mine with only 1.6 cubes each net...

i'm not going to take anything from the r's tho...those are still excellent subs for the $...
