I guess I'm actually just confused as to why you would want to tune your system to that? You will get very little music out of the subs. Is this a project to see if you can do it? Or do you plan on keeping it that way? Because if you plan to keep it, I would buy very inexpensive low end eq. Just because you won't use it much.

If you get it to work, post a vid. I'd like to see it. Not even sure the camera would capture it.

it's a little of both.....you never know if you will like something until you try it. i already have a box tuned to 34hz. before i moved there was i guy i knew trough someone i knew and his system get funky low i think 18hz or something and it had some output as well. but that was just that day so to have a box in my hatch daily tuned that low i wont know until i get there. i have tought about getting an eq something along the line of the epic160..... from audiocontrol as well as the epicenter that i already have. thanks.......

Well good luck to ya. I think you should get info from Squeak if your going to try it out. I wouldn't listen to half (maybe even less) of these guys about much of anything, but his knowlege goes well beyond most here. I say try out whatever you want. Nothing more fun than experimenting. I tried building a cooling plate for the inside of an amp before. My thought was that if I designed an aluminum backing plate with water channels I could cool the amp down to really low temps. It failed after I ran the amp too low in ohms (was a cheapy pyramid) but was still lots of fun.

I already knpow you cant hear below 20hz thats why i said subsonic lowz and i also know that most music cd's dont play below 30hz so your saying that anyone who is tuned lower than 30hz is stupid???i i like what i like and thats what i want so if you cant help me out then dont coment. there are people hittin 10 and 5hz i even heard rumers of some hittin 1hz.

i know what ya mean dude it's rough, most of the time people on here will flame if it's not something they would like, so you gotta do what you like sometimes. as far as hittin the lows, gotta be a huge box, if its ported tune it really low, and both ways are gunna kill performance in in the higher frequencies, subs just aren't designed to hit that low, any sub will probably play 15 hz, the main thing is that its just not gunna be loud unless your sub is big enough, and has enough excursion capabilty to actually move alot of air at only 15 cycles a second, theoretically, most subs will be more than twice as loud at 30 htz than at 15... and it gets worse as you go down

you're not doing anything new. We gave you suggestions, and from what I saw you didn't even acknowledge the serious responses, you sound a lot like cotjones.

anybody can hit 15hz. its just wether its loud or not is the question. u can hit 15hz in a sealed box just wont be loud.
