trying to hit 15hz

i only got 8k for my sign on bonus for infantry.............. i can re-enlist in 2 months but i dont think i want too. like a 15k re-enlistment bonus. dont know if its worth it since its another gaurenteed deployment again. i had a good time the first 15 months i was in afghanistan but i dunno if i wanna do that again.

So way back in the day, pipe organ designers built these massive tubes that played notes so low that the congregation could not even hear them. What was the point of that you may ask? To inspire a feeling of awe and wonder durring prayer when the air inside of the church would actualy massage you and lead to you to the feeling of divine presence. Bass CD's arent the only music with ultra low lows as much of my black metal will attest to and I also seek the inaudible but sensational low notes. Check out my 20Hz bass question under subwoofer discussions. You just had to one up me didn't you? Good luck.

Your mids can 'hit' 15hz FYI. Hitting a freq is easy, it gets more complicated when you want to reproduce that note at a given output level. But since you just want to 'hit' it, most speakers could. ANY subwoofer not in a ridiculously high tuned vented box can hit 15hz.

BIG box ported low like I posted a picture of, well maybe not that big for a car, but an SUV it would work.

Use Winisd and model up some different subs in big enclosures with low tuning. HT guys do it all the time as there's lots of low freq stuff in movies. Build something and try it out if it's what you really want.

And if you succeed expect it to literally rattle your car to death. I have drywall nails that have popped out in every room in the house, have broken a few lightbulb filaments, knock pictures off the walls, etc... but that's the price you pay for killer bass in a house.

My subs model at 115dB @15Hz with a 19Hz tune, but I've never measure them in house to see. I just know it's stupid loud when I want it to be...

ip check 4 what!! this is crazy wtf are you trying to say or do!!
lol this is getting out of hand......this is why the car audio hobby is fading away everyone follow's everyone nothig differnt. here i am trying to do something new at least to me and i get *****ed! let me be the one to say i dont like it if it gets to that point! and to the guy who put my post in his sig thats cool i really dont giva a f**K! some of you people act like you knew this shit from day 1. all am asking is for some info on how to get that low and what it would take... amp, sub, box ect;

After reading this thread, I'm pretty sure you already got the info you needed. You're just not listening.

But for me it is thats what am trying to do it. I know the serious replies.......
