toyota is making waves with these new cars!

open up a 4wheelin' magazine.. : ) not a dodge/ford/chevy in sight my man.

toyota rocks the house off road, my 1986 toyota van with 2 wheel drive rocks off road.

i buried my 1994 4runner in a canal to the window line, and kept it running and after the tow truck pulled it out, it was still running, 2 hours later.

my scion XA 2005 (rip) was hit in the passenger side at ~60 from a huge ford van, crushed the car in half, and shut off the engine, it started and sputtered out at the junk yard, i took a look, and the MAF sensor lines were all cut, so thats probably why it didn't run.

toyota's are definately durable, i'd have to see the FJ cruiser in person, it looks small in the pictures, but it's built on the 4runner chassis, so i cant imagine it being too small, as the new 4runner is as big as a ford explorer, that and it comes with 17's stock, not too standard on tiny suv-types.
on the rubicon there are lots of old land cruisers, jeeps, and yota trucks with exo-skeletons and all the fenders cut off.

Ehh, for 20 grand I could pick up a mostly restored original FJ and not have to worry about that big, fugly plastic bumper breaking on a trail //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

For that price I probably could find one with a V8 swap in it as well...

WHAT THE **** IS WITH THE NEW NAME FROSTY????!?!??!?!??!?! I DON'T LIKE IT, I DON'T LIKE IT AT ALL.

I always heard I wanted to be a male some day.
Anyways, not a big fan of the new FJ. I do like the new tacoma though, seems to be a nice truck from test driving it.

i think everyone can agree on that!

and the new FJ, i dont think it's going to be as big of an offroad thing as it has been in the past, however, if you go to http://www.toyota.com and click future/concept, then the FJ, and then videos, all of the vids are the vehicle in offroad action, and they're pretty impressive preformancewise.
