Hey, I just bought a 1992 Toyota Camry LE V6 and it's totaly stock right now. What would be the best audio setup under $1000? What else would you do to the car? Is it worth moding the engine out or anything? I know nothing of car audio, but plenty about performance. Teach me! lol...

With $1000 you can get a high quality product in each of these categories to improve your current stock sound system.

Headunit - Amp - Speakers

With the speakers you can choose to get a subwoofer or upgrade your smaller current speakers if you're unimpressed with their performance.

If you choose to get a subwoofer, I'd go with a single 10", dual 10", or single 12" setup. Each depending on what kind of sound you're wanting.

If you choose to upgrade your current speakers, the new amp that you buy with new speakers will significantly improve your sound.

It's late, and this is very basic..maybe it helps though.
