WE MADE IT HAPPEN!!! Soooo many people told me it couldnt happen, BUT we made it work. Im soooooooo happy to FINALLY have this car bumpin again. I just cant wait to take it to the car wash and get it detailed and all looking good.

Here is the first stage for the kicks.

Here is both of them

Both kicks wrapped in speaker cloth...

Left Kick mounted and installed

Right kick mounted and installed

Trunk covered in about 70 sq. ft. of sound deadner

Here is the base of the boxes

After trying to fit the boxes in the trunk, they didnt fit, so we had to cut the corners of the boxes. After this the box still didnt fit because of the LITTLEEEE loss of air space from the deadner....SO we beat the SHIT of out the trunk. After beating the shit out of the trunk, they still didnt fit, so we had to cut a little angle on the bottom of the box....

NOW...................... AFTER doing all that to the trunk and modifying the box. It still didnt quite fit, so we even had to cut the back part of my trunk off (right where the trunk locks down. THEN it finally fit.

Here are the boxes carpeted and fiberglassed (sorry i couldnt get pics, it was done before I got to the shop.

different angle view with store owner in backround

Finally in the trunk

View of how the amps are mounted

Ports going into back dash

Ports set and back dash fiberglassed

There is also another battery that we mounted in the wheel well...I couldnt get a picture of that, sorry.

View from inside the car showing how everything was mounted on the back of the box

View of the battery in back

MORE TO COME ------------------>

We are finishing up the back dash today and tomorrow. There is going to be a piece made on the back dash for the ports to fire through, covered in grill cloth. There are going to be a pair of components on the back dash also fiberglassed into pods so they are on a little slant up towards the window.

MORE TO COME HOPEFULLY TOMORROW...

This past week they have just been breaking in. Hopefully this back dash will be done in a day or 2 and I will turn it up quite a bit. As of right now, its hittin pretty **** hard, BUT it hits lowwwwww. Tuned to 35 Hz.

Looking good man.

Nice choice in cars as well. Hell of a back seat ay //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif.

Yea I HATE the back dash on this thing though. Its allllll sheet metal, and its alllll jagged, like it all has an up and down and up and down pattern...very hard to customize unless its all cut out and rivitted back together.

Well with the gains at 1/5 and only having front kicks at the moment, it sounds really good....BUT I cant wait to get the rest of it done.

u should have did 6 type r 10's u would have gotten alittle more out put

and u should have made a rectangle porti nstead of mutiple round ports

but it looks good and i'm sure it gets loud a heck

Well, one reason I really like the ports is because they fire right into the cabin of the car vs. the trunk. One problem that was really solved by doin this was my trunk panel on the back right flexed really bad....now it doesnt to that anymore. NOW I have yet to turn the gains up to where I am going to have em wangin since they are still breaking in, so that might make them flex again once I do that but....lets hope not.

them are some sweet ports. but like said, i would have done a pair of slot ports that slide into the box like the round ones. would have gotten a lower tuning and more cross sectional area.
