too much MIDBASS?

My door is literally not attached to the side of the door that the speaker is on/its being held in place with all the other christmas trees but it still sucks not being able to completely fix it with the door attached.

there are other styles also but basically that is what he means

 
if you have depth to play with in the doors, try a thinner baffle rather than spacers that push the door out. i stopped making baffles out of 3/4 mdf a while ago because of this.

 
i had a hard time breaking down what he was saying.

so the cone/surround is hitting the backside of the door panel during excursion?

see if you can shave any portion of the back of the door panel to make clearance. if you can't then try to get thinner baffle rings.
