too much juice?

do you already have this amp or going to get it. I found it much cheaper in a few other sites. I was looking at it and pictures from each angle and it doesnt have any fuses on it.. kinda odd. Since its not CEA compliant it prolly won't actually put out that much wattage. Just use a meter and turn the gain up to match the rms you want no biggie. I am running 500 rms on a 12.1 and it has lasted years.

i already have one, not from that site. How much is a meter, or will i be able to use one at a store like cartoys or something?

EDIT: also, does it not reduce the SQ to have too much power going into them as opposed to a lower rms?

1. I don't know what kind of METER your talking about, or maybe i would have an answer.

2. It doesn't matter how much power is actually available to the amplifier. What matters is making sure your gains are set correctly, to ensure that you won't blwo your sub(s).

I had a 15" kicker CVR dvc 4ohm that is 500 rms 1000 max and i had 1100watts going to it with a Hifonics bxi 1606d at 2 ohms. Don't worry about overpowering it just keep your gains low and you should be fine.
