Can you solve it?
Okay, not really need....who needs anything :p I want to upgrade my current cd player in my car to a dvd 7-inch (or 6.5) screen head-unit. I really wanted navigation, but I'm not seeing any in my price range that I really like. I have a few options and I wanted some opinions on which way is the best long term way to go.

1. Just **** it up and buy the whole thing (such as the Pioneer AVIC-n1, n2, etc)

2. Buy a DVD without nav. and purchase a carputer in the summer?

I can see pluses to both but I'm kinda leaning towards the carputer. I was thinking that I could spend 700 on the dvd unit and then pay about 400 down the road for a carputer.

Anyone see a reason to go with the all-in-one option?

Thanks,

Justin

i had the avic-n2 but then i sold it for an alpine iva-d901 cuz i rarely used the navi but now that i got the alpine i want my pioneer back //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif but thats only cuz the avic had more featuers that i was interested in but the alpine definitelly sounded better
