To all motorcycle riders!!!!

get what you are comfortable on for sure, I started with a yfz600, but grew up riding 2 stroke dirt bikes forever, then got a kaw 636, now got a 07 zx10. Just wear your gear, 2months ago I was coming home from work and hit a deer doin 40mph, luckily that day I had my jacket on (which I never wear). Saved alot of skin, walked away with only large large knot on my leg and stiff neck and back.

I've already signed up for a course for next month. Hopefully I'll get my license then too

No one I know ride a bike except for my cousin's husband. And I never talk to him...ever.

I'm glad you got signed up it will be very beneficial you will generally get your license too if ya pass alright. They give the test and everything. So, you do good then no DMV test course.

After the course you will have an alright feel for riding, so since they don't have anything a 250 or the like should be alright to start with and like someone already said earlier.. If you get a 250 and get tired of it you can always trade/sell up.

No helmet law for the operator down here in Ohio, I see people riding without helmets all the time, probably more often then I see them with helmets...I always wear my helmet and gloves, my jacket gets worn like 75% of the time //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif
