Tips to tuning a 4ch amp?

Got a lot of my system done today, everything but the subs and box at least. I have never really tuned an amp before, so just asking to see what kinda tips/how to's you guys have to tuning the amp. its a 50x4 on 60wrms speakers. I currently just have the crossovers and gain set to 3/4 and all filters/bass features turned off
