If you're only setting a mono amp with a DMM, a Craftsman will be fine. However, if you want to use any test tone over 400 Hz, most of them will not be accurate measuring the AC voltage you'll be getting. AC has a frequency. If you use a 1000 Hz test tone, most Craftsman DMMs will not accurately measure it. There are a lot of DMMs that only go up to 400 Hz AC. Check the technical specs in the owner's manuals for the DMMs before you make a purchase if you don't own one already.lol. Reason for my comment is that I dont think he knows what a DMM is. I could be wrong though.
Whats wrong with craftsman DMM. Hes just checking voltage.
