A title is a piece of paper issued once you are the full owner of the car(paid off). Different states have different laws, but you should of recieved a salvaged title with your vehicle.ay how do you transfer a title anyway? and wat is a title, is it a piece of paper or sumthin. because i bought a salvage car and theres was no title transfer, all i got was a receipt
Because if he doesn't and if the dad and kid get into a fight a year down the road, the dad can no questions asked get the car back, or call the cops and report it stolen and get the kid in trouble. Smart move to transfer the title.dont be a moron...tell that story to the cop that pulls you over
...and why would you go out and waste your money to just transder it from your dads to your name...
Time for you to get out more //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/eyebrow.gif.fe2c18d8720fe8c7eaed347b21ea05a5.gifI have never seen a car fresh off the lot with illegal tint. All dealers tint to state laws.
You can have tinted windows up to a certain % tint, and the factory tinted windows don't exceed this limit if it's older, just check your state laws. You can tint windows only to a certain extent. Another note, at least here in MN, all cars that are considered cars, wagons, etc, by the EPA, or DOT, or whoever does it, are NOT allowed to be tinted, factory or otherwise, AT ALL(most cops don't care though). Only trucks/vans are allowed be tinted. Which is part of the reason the new 2006 subaru tribeca's(dumb car i know, first one that came to mind) windows are tinted, it is liscensed as a truck/suv, even though most would consider it a wagon. It's a trick manufactures use. If you can get a new vehicle liscensed as a truck/van/suv, you have the ability to not need a rear-view mirror, rear bumper, rear glass windows, emission standards/gas milage are also lowered for the vehicle, and you can tint up to what state laws allow from the factory.Question???
Why do some new vehicles come with the windows tinted? If not UV tint, a color formed in to the glass at least? Why no violations for new vehicles? Is it cuz gangstas drive old vehicles? So we can't tint them???
idk, i guess im the only person left that doesnt have a throwed off family life....Because if he doesn't and if the dad and kid get into a fight a year down the road, the dad can no questions asked get the car back, or call the cops and report it stolen and get the kid in trouble. Smart move to transfer the title.
in louisiana the legal limit is 35% on rear, and 25% on front windows, NO tint on windshield
my beretta has 2.5% all the way around (35% windshield) fuk seeing in you can barely see out
# of times pulled over by the cops
BTW we have a tint law in louisiana that may apply for other states.
a cop CAN NOT PULL YOU OVER FOR DARK TINT ( in LA)
since its IMPOSSIBLE to determine the tint visually a cop must pull you over for another
reason then check your tint, a cop can not pull you over just for your tint. If you get a
ticket for dark tint 99.9% chance ticket will be dropped, and another 25% of the time the
cop doesn't even show up in court (at least around here)
