Sucks IMO. And here's why:

I contacted him a while back about doing a recone for my 4hpz(since he's the one that has the voice coil). We talked about pricing and agreed on a price which I paid, for a full recone.

Then 02parkave, who has the basket at the time, offered to send the basket over to Tim Roy so that I don't have to receive the basket and ship it again. The basket, btw, is a TC Sounds basket with the QCA ring. Then i told Tim to hold off on starting with the recone until he gets the basket, to which then he agree. So then a couple of weeks went by and Tim Roy got the basket and said he'll start on the recone right away, and this is where it started to **** big time.

After about a 2 weeks i contacted him to ask how the recone is doing, to which I got no reply. After about three more emails, he finally decided to send me an email saying that it's done and he'll send it out. I didn't get any tracking, but the recone came to me about a week after.

When i opened the box, to my surprise, the basket and the cone where not in one piece, but separate pieces instead. And the basket wasn't even cleaned off as the epoxy/glue from the last sub is still intact. Then I took a DMM to the voice coil, just to see what it reads, and it comes up as 1.5ohm DCR, even though this is supposed to be a single 1ohm vc. Now I don't consider myself very knowledgeable, but I do believe that if it's a single 1 then DCR should be lower than 1, correct me if i'm wrong. And now i've contacted him about this and still has no response.

Cliffs: Recone came in from Tim Roy but was not done properly, VC doesn't seem to read the normal resistance. Tim Roy sucks dick

lol... thats not what i meant, but i dont think there is much you will be able to do about this draginix.... imo you should just bite the bullet and make it happen.

recone will work, but coils dont read the right impedence... and its not already mounted to the basket.

on a side note, draginix, i dont think he could have mounted the recone to the basket without having the motor... or another 4hpz motor

thats prolly why it wasnt glued to the basket
