the motor has to be mounted to the basket to properly shim the coil. and also you pay 1 price for the rebuild kit, then you have to pay another price to have it built. they are not hard to build with the right glue & shims.

Drag, the recone is glued to the basket by the spider and the surround is not glued to the basket correct?

If so, be carefull grinding under the unglued edges of the surround.
