Tight Fit??? help

So i built my own subwoofer box out of 3/4 and i was going to put a single 12" sub in it... but i wouldnt mine going bigger. Do you think a 15" subwoofer would fit my box. The top dimensions are 17" x 15". What do yall guys think about a 15" sub going in there.

But to answer your question, I wouldn't do it. What kind of 15 is it? Also whats the full dimensions of that box?

It probably wouldn't work because the cutout for a 15 is going to be somewhere around 14" and if you only have 15" to work with minus the thickness of the mdf .75 on each side you would be left with 13.5" so it probably wouldn't fit

possibly if you out a second baffle on but it still might not work

Its 16" tall. 15"x17" on the top. Lol he said put lube

If it is 16" tall, it should fit depending on the subwoofer brand

That is tiny for a 15 even sealed. Is there s reason why you couldn't just build a new enclosure for a 15"?
