THE WHOLE THING!!!

To let the cat out of the bag, I was supposed to run the van this weekend. Well, I get down to lafayette today and find that the van is far from completed.
It got a new windshield this morning and I arrived at around 1 and started to get stuff done. All the wiring completed and tested, the podium hooked up and working great, and all that jazz.
Started with some low volume testing to get stuff started and discover that the van peaks at 35 hz! One major problem there is finding a bassrace song. So I skip that for the time being and start doing burp testing.
Well, I get one good burp off and I hear an interesting sound. I go to the front of the van to find this:
Yup. The brand new windshield that was installed this morning got completely destroyed on the first burp (did a 156.4 @ 35 hz btw). So that put a damper on things. I'm surely not going to drive this thing with a destroyed windshield.
Backup plan, get a trailer. We possibly had one lined up, so we taped up the windshield and kept testing.
I try bassrace all out and open the door to a plume of smoke. Lost a sub. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif So that's all she wrote, and the van will no longer be at slamology. I do have my s-10 with me though, so I will still be competing.

After the tape and some testing. The cracks started to come through the tape!
