not that the DC isn't a good choice but no one said anything about aluminum coils espcially since he's only going to have around 1.5k watts.

You can't go wrong with either choice imo.

I love my HDC3, hits rock songs like they're rap songs.

Go with the one that looks better to you, lol.

you have any parameters for the hd? the you have no idea if its going to do good do you?? acendant audio havoc would do nicely as well..

The HDC3 will work very good in 3.8 cubes net tuned 37-38hz.

Why do you keep saying I have no params. I've looked them over like 15 times. Audioque.com/hdcseries. single 15 in a trunk with sub firing up and aero(s) back gonna be louder than single 12" hdc3 or lvl 4 sub and port rear firing off same wattage. Anyone wanna tell me if 1 6" aero is enough or what about 2 4"s also if I did a single aero where would be the best place to put it be? Driver, passenger or middle of box? Or would it be neglible?

another option would be 2 12" SDC's off a 1200D. 4 cubes @ 38Hz would wang nicely.

i personally think the 2 12s would hit harder, imo.
