This is what i FINALLY think i am going to buy:

Alpine MRD-M501 Amp

2 12" Alpine Type S's (SWS-1222D)

Now for an enclosure. The specs for the sub box calls for:

sealed box volume: 0.85-1.5 cubic feet

ported box volume: 1.25-2.0 cubic feet

Which would be better in this setup, Sealed or Ported?

-- If sealed, then which would be best 0.85 cubic feet or 1.5 cubic feet? (smaller or bigger?)

-- If ported, then which would be best 1.25 cubic feet or 2.0 cubic feet? (smaller or bigger?)

(I listen to mostly rock, punk, and alternative my myself, but when i am riding around with friends i mostly listen to rap)

I'd run them in a sealed enclosure, 1 ft^3 ea (2.0ft^3 total).
