So I was working on xxxpower's box today, and it fell off the table and landed on my left big toe. I just got back from the hospital. It smashed my toe. I could fold my nail up and see my bone. It sucked much.

Pics later when I unwrap it- probably tomorrow morning when I change the dressing.

Been in the same exact position before, except my nail didn't flip up so I had incredible pain in my fingernail. I ended up getting a hole drilled through the nail, and ripped it off a week later with plyers, took 7 months for the nail to grow back.

lol i came inside and i was like "mooooommmmm.... could you take me to the hospital" as calm as could be. She freaked out lol. Honestly, it didn't really hurt. I couldn't feel anything.

i got pain killers, but not the good ones lol. I'll post up pics in the morning when i change the dressing lol. And pics of the trails of blood in my house //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif.

BTW- getting poked in the area underneath your big toe hurts like shit. The doctor kept doing it to see if the pain killer had set in! He kept poking it with the friggin stitching needle.

like so:

*poke* "Does it hurt?" "Yes" *poke* "YES!" *poke* "Yes, it friggin hurts, now would you stop?!?!?!?!" It's not like it's gonna get any better in the 5 seconds that took...

that sucks mane...my buddy had a bobcat fall off a jack on his toe, he was wearing steel toe boots but it still f'ed up his foot pretty bad........charge him more for the box

lol no blood on the box. it fared much better than my toe. I hope it heals well, too. IT feels weird to be able to feel my toenail moving around //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif

hmm that sucks. Thats why i always build on the ground. Nevermind that just because there so much shit on my worktables that i couldnt build a box up there
