So, before suggestions start flying around, the real questions need to be asked: What is the vehical curent draw vs alt output? What is the owner using the vehical for; towing, ect? What kind of power is the suggested new stereo sysyem going to require? What is the current reason for this inquiry? and no, I am not reading that Original thread.

all the answers are in the thread ...its 0 gauge from the factory...170amp alt and 0 awg can handle 250amp-300amp....and he wants to run a 1200watt amp.....like i said before he'll be fine
