Two things:
1) The wire weighs more than the car.

2) The wire is WORTH more than the car.

wouldn't it be easier (well, smarter) to calculate the amount of amperage those amps will draw under full load (or the max the battery can discharge) and then calculate the amount of wire (in circular mills) needed to deliver said current?

i'm sure you surpassed the amount of runs where it became non beneficial to add more... i mean, batteries can only supply SO much current...
