Thinkin of Type X Components

Are you forgetting the 7.3's, the 6.2's and the 6.5's for Ford and Chev?

I have always said the best truck in the world would be a ford frame/suspension/steering, dodge powertrain, and chev body/interior.

Thats until the interior starts to fall apart. Love chev's but hate the fact that when they reach 100k its like the whole interior just goes to hell.

 
Ya they have always ******... What are your plans for yours? what year?
I have an 07 mega with a 5.9 auto.

Plans - Goerend full billit *****, efi live, modded dragon slayer cp3, 200 hp sticks, 66mm single, spearco or bd intercooler, airdog II 165, and lots of filtrations, bypass units.

Then there's the stereo......work in progress.

 
Thats just how it is when you start getting fast... Any Dyno sheets? or Strip receipts?
first pass on the race tune blew the LSD so to add to the traction issue I have the one tire fire.
Ya need a Dodge then. Yes people putting up 700+ hp will smoke...but necessarily black out intersections. Armor Inc has a dodge in the 600+ range and his is clean.
I am going to wait for efi live to come online for Dodge before I start into mine.
I don't need a cummins. The cummins has yet to out HP and TQ a tuner and exhaust only 6.4. Ill save the live tune for the new turbos and nitrous.

BTW sorry about the groan. The droids screen wasn't zoomed and I hit it accidentally.

My dads first 7.3l shop truck had close to a million miles on it before we sent it to the crusher.

None of the stock trannies are worth a shat. Dodge is just the worst of em stock. Best of them built.
Not the 5R110. They easily hold up to 750rwhp/1400rwtq

+1 For some reason one of our shop trucks is a chevy 1500 and that thing is a huge POS. I cant wait till its sent out to pasture and i can take the LQ for the stang. But for some reason we keep fixing it.

Why wouldnt it be? Ford finally pulled their heads out of their ***** and put a good engine in their trucks. Unfortunately they keep ******* around with that DOHC ****.
