Working on my build...curious of its gonna be enough for a hair trick haha. 2 door blazer with a Zv5 18" powered by a SCV2000D in a 7ft cubic box ported tuned to 28hz...second battery,upgraded alt, 0 gauge all around. Box is extremely well built. Whatcha think?

There was a blazer on YouTube doing hair tricks with a single btl 18, but I wanna say the box was larger and tuned lower(23hz?). But it's worth a try! Although If that doesn't work, more power and more cone!

Hard to say really. If you can hairtrick, it might not be as nasty as you hope. I did see two 12's on youtube doing some good hairtricks from the trunk though. Gotta try and see

Side note there's a guy from Europe on Facebook who does a really mean hair trick out the trunk of his Mercedes, but that's a zv5 on a ground zero 6k and his box is tuned to like 17hz

I was just in St. Augustine a few weeks ago for vacation. Had no idea that downtown area had such a large history to it.

Had an s10 blazer myself and it's not an easy answer to say yes or no to ask about hairtricks in a small suv. However, they can get loud easy.

What year s10? Any pics of stereo yet?

Yea man ive lived here my whole life its a beautiful place, and a ton of history. Its a 2003 LS Blazer. It isnt all hooked up yet ive got everything ready besides my box which is being built sept 30th. The guys booked up until that point so i have to be patient. But yea, they get loud for sure ive got a little 600w 15" atm and it gets pretty loud so im looking forward to getting this monster sub in there. Ill definetly be posting pictures of the set ul and videos of what it can do when i get it in so keep an eye out!

Whats the point of tuning that low. How does it help?

Well i pretty much only listen to rap and decaf music that plays a lot of those notes that hit the low 20 Hz. Its all preference. I LOVE the lows, thats why i went with an 18" and tuned it so low.

I had a 2door blazer with an ampere 3800.1 and sundown nightshade v1 18 with psi recone.box was 6.3 cubes tuned to 28hz and I could do a mini hairtrick at best. I think you are gonna need more cone area and power to get what you want
