they are rated at 750wrms ya think a Directed 1500D pushing 1100 wrms at 1ohm would be too much for one of these subs in a sealed enclosure?

the box isn't built yet but it could be from 2.25 to 2.7 cu ft sealed. I can go bigger or even a bit smaller but I was building a 2.25 cu. ft enclosure this weekend and was going to throw some poly fill in (2 lbs) I can change the size of the enclosure though

He is probly stating that with impedance rise you wont see that much power or resistance. 1ohm could very well turn out to actually be 3ohms or higher depending on the box.

But...then again as the note changes so does the resistance. So chances are that it WILL a some point see the full wattage, but for a short period of time.

yes they can handle an 1100rms but just some food for thought they don't like sealed boxes. But if your destined on a sealed box bigger is better.

bigger sealed box decreases power handling, id just be careful, and isnt there such a thing as impedance loss??? or is there only impedance gain?
