Those subs do get loud. They can handle more abuse than kicker comps. If you already got the subs use them op, for 90$ a piece they're really not that bad.

So why not pay less than that and buy cvr's that will beat the hifonics

The ignorance on this forum is amazing. Instead of being douchbags and criticizing somebody's stereo, or telling them they screwed up with their money, maybe try and help them with their questions. I guess all of you fugging car stereo elitists woke up one morning and knew everything. He has brz15's, deal with it. Try and help, don't bash him. What's next.... sell his car so he can buy a hatchback? Why stop at his choice in stereo? Let's start telling somebody that asks about box size, what he should buy, what he should trade his car for, whether or not his wife/gf is good enough for him etc? OoooK! Can you say "Entry Level". Not offended. Understand completely what you are saying. Did all my research, homework and all of that. What I have is just a basic system to build upon myself. I didn't want to spend $1200 based off of some car audio shop guy opinion or go by "if it was me I would". I have very good knowledge on car audio. This is a beginners system that can be built upon. Pay attention to the head unit I have; Alpine 147BT (2013 model), it has Blue Tooth and a 9 Band Parametric EQ $180 bucks. Cross Over- Alpine Front Row $250 bucks. The Hifonics Amps three of them, all together around $325, I think Hifonics makes pretty good amps. Everything else I bought, well "elcheapo", for a reason tho. Didn't want to spend big dollars on drivers til I heard actual sound coming from the system, in the long run I will come out ahead. I just wanted to know if anyone out there have had the Hifonics Brutus BRZ15D4, and if yes, how do they perform.

Not a good startThe amps don't do near rated power.

The crossover networks are pretty ******

They aren't very clean.

The cd playercan have a 100 band eq that doesn't mean its a good buy or will sound good.

Those mids are tweeters are laugh able at best and those subs are among the worst on the market.

I'd suggest returning that trash and starting over.

I wouldn't believe the ts parameters from hifonics..

For 1200 you could have gotten a single file ssd 15 a audioque 1200.1 a Kenwood x696 and a AQ 90,4.

Why not go with 4 cube per chamber tuned to 40hz? That'll be a good box if you want to upgrade to something better later on. If you want to play down to the mid 20hz range you should really consider trashing them and getting a single high quality 15.

Highly probable that a top tier 15 will outperform 2 entry level ones on all levels.

I think OP has the wrong idea about what he wants. He says SQ but buys Hifonics and cheap super tweeters. Good luck and I hope you are happy. IMO a singe $200 15 on a decent 750 watt amp would have been better.

I've used them before. They sound good and get loud for the price. Very versatile and works in nearly any box. The power handling is a joke thou. My only complaint. They should be kept a couple hundred watts under rms for prolonged slamming. But what can u expect from a sub that price?

yea they all were nice brands till maxxsonics got them mb quart was considered high end in the day
