yeah i would defiantly think about beefing up ur electrical.
why not get

a hdc18

h/o alt

single battery like a pc2150 or hc2400

run the sub off the hifonics until you come into more money for another amp?

no point in getting so much power if you cant really run it without the risk of blowing something

i've been looking around at alternators that are 140+ amps. Mostly between 150-200 dollars.

And a battery for around $120, so that brings me to $320 total for the eletrical, does that sound about right?

That leaves me with like 400 dollars to spend on subs or an amp.

That's not too bad. A 160 amp alt for my old Civic was about $550 shipped.

I personally would do a single sub setup. 1 HDC12 on ur Hifonics, spend the rest on a HO Alt, batteries, and ur front stage ifu already haven't got a front stage. Than later on get a 2nd HDC3 and a second Hifonics unless you would rather buy a new amp. A AQ 3500d would be good on those subs. I don't see a good reason to try to run a strong daily system on a weak electrical. Remember, your system is only as good as its weakest link.

powermaster alts are good sell ur type r's on cl for a decent price and use that money torwards another sub. keep hifonics for time being

ok that's good, i will probably buy a powermaster then.

I am selling my r's, even though i love them, for another sub.

yes, i am keeping the hifonics and will use it to power the audioques HD3c's ( i think).

simple take the box out you plan on getting louder with more power but run the same sealed box?. gl to you i wouldnt run audioque sealed

two audioque subs with a 2200 watt amp would be a huge upgrade to the 1300+ rms i am running now. I'm not even getting a full 1600 out of the hifonics right now because of my electrical.

is this a good choice?
