The Set Up???

ok, i have (4) 12" Kicker XPLs and they are 8 ohms... the subs max power are 500watts each.... these speakers are made for a sealed box

i also have a OrionXtrPro 2400wt amp.. the amp is 2400 watts x 1 at 2 ohm or 1200watts x 1 at 4 ohms

as of now... i have all 4 subs ran parrelled to the amp...isnt this at 2 ohms? (4) 8 ohms subs ran parrelled would equal 2 ohms, right?? i dont know...im not sure... and also i have them in a ported box.. since these subs r not made for ported.. do i need to put them in a sealed box??
