12w6v2 w/box & 3 warranty

total $600

take that money, get me 2 12w6v2s (purecaraudio.com) 630 shipped*

slap em in a slot ported box.

sounds good??

actually i heard one just a week ago in my friends jeep too....great subs. he had his in a sealed box just the same size as yours and it hit fairly hard but had really nice SQ.

i have 3 yr warranty on the sub at a local shop

i'll buy 2 of them off the net so i'll still have my warranty and i already have that slot ported box that i had my 2 12w3vs in.... specs are **** near the same for the 2 v2's so things will work out...

i'll end up spending out of my pocket like $10 get subs tuned & $3 for the shipping...

so, 13 bucks for another 12w6v2, but i will be losing my z6400, BUT i'll have my pioneer amp to put in there for now....

What Pioneer amp? The 40x4? 80 RMS / sub???

if your planning on getting the warrenty and just usuing it on which ever sub goes thats not going to work....local shops have to fill out the warrenty info with the serial number, JL knows which subs get warrenties and which do not.

actually they don't do that at the shop i'm talking about..

yeah, they sound pretty good...but after i get them metered, i'm going to lower the tuning on the box to about 28hz for even better SQ. As to how they compare with W6v2....i have no idea, i've never heard them. peace
