it's a smell that you can definately sniff easily without trying. I have a trunk car and i can hear the smell easily in the driver seat It's a warning sign to let you know you are heating up the voice coils, so back down on the GAIN!

hey, i am looking to save up for some type r's, but i have a slight problem.... i was originally thinking of saving up for two 15's but i was wondering if that would just be too much? should i just go with two 12's? i am looking to get a system that hits hard as hell and sounds good... so i have no clue if i should get the 15's or 12's. help would be appreciated. thanks.

i just ordered one 12'' type r dual 2 ohm i'm about to wire it at 1 ohm.

I'm hooking it up with one hifonics titan 750

can anyone in here build a box for me for a low price i need about a 2.5 cu ft box tuned at 35hz or watever is best

This is a design for a Alpine SWR-1222D that I made for a friend, but can be used for a shit load of other 12" subs out there. I've included the exact cuts that need to be made on a 4'x8' sheet of 3/4"mdf.

I decided to make this post because I've noticed that everyone says" just do a 2.4 at 35hz blah blah blah and most people don't have any idea where to start. I hope this helps some of the noobs out that are looking for a good box design around 3 cubes @ 30hz.
