Would a Viper 2500.1 @ 2ohm be safe (2500 RMS) to 2 12" Type Rs? Would I have to take it easy on them? Would they get stinky everytime I wang on them?

that amps actual power may suprise you. i dont think you will see an actual 1500+ out of it. it would power ur subs just fine. viper = pig

Does anyone know the "PERFECT" box setup for 2 12" Type Rs? I have plenty of room in my tahoe.... im just looking to get the most out of these puppies. There in a 3 CF sealed POS box right now... they hit, but i know they can do more. Any detailed info would be GREAT!

sounds good, but i believe those ma audio amps are rated at 17volts. How about a collosus?

they are rated at 17v, but mine is modded to .5 ohm stable... so it puts out about 3600 @ 1 ohms at 14v

Would 32 hz be a good tuning for daily driving on Type Rs? I listen to mostly rap and when I do listen to anything else I turn the bass down anyway.

it's a smell that you can definately sniff easily without trying. I have a trunk car and i can hear the smell easily in the driver seat It's a warning sign to let you know you are heating up the voice coils, so back down on the GAIN!

ask around the forum. There are a few that will build boxes for smaller price..
