If you DO go sealed... go with at *least* 1.5 cubes per 12. The R's only work well in a biggy sealed box...

If 1.5 is the minimum, whats optimal?

Anyone know how much power Type-Rs can really handle? I know they are rated for 500w RMS, and I had 500w RMS going to one of them...do you think I would be fine pushing 750w RMS to each?

Would a Viper 2500.1 @ 2ohm be safe (2500 RMS) to 2 12" Type Rs? Would I have to take it easy on them? Would they get stinky everytime I wang on them?

I have 2 type r's hooked to an orion 600d. Yeah I thought it would be alright hooked it up and it makes my head hurt at 75% vol. These things are freakin LOUD. Even though their underpowered.
