The Official Type R Thread

Well I'm glad you asked this question. After deep thought I have come to a conclusion. It will sound like a pair of subs in an enclosure.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/tongue.gif.6130eb82179565f6db8d26d6001dcd24.gif

You could feed that Type R just as much as the X, and it will be louder IMO. Make youself a large ported box, and feed it all you got, just SET YOUR GAIN CORRECTLY. I guarentee that your problem before was that your gain was set incorrecting, sending a clipped signal to the sub.
if you got more power, the type x will be louder and sound much better doing it than the type R, tyoe R is still loud though and does sound good, but not comparable to the X

you speaker blew because your crossovers were not set right it was obviously put into over excursion, where if the x-over had been set correctly it would not have allowed it

Do us a favor. Before you finish a beaming cookie cutter type R review, beat the sh*t out of it for a while and make sure it can live long enough in a real world environment to make it worth the money.

OK, at first I didnt think that the Type R threads was THAT bad. but in the last week, W...>T....F you guys, seriously, they have to stop, something has to be done.

MODERATOR...........can we please start a X VS. Y category. I think it would make a lot of people on here happy. Honestly
