Ebay is not cheap for the 1241d, and they dont even have any non-used ones on auction atm. And trancer, i was askin about 1241d, not 1221, and i cant run my amp at 2 ohms bridged.
So, basically you guys are saying, running the 1242d at 300 rms a piece would be fine?

I know what you were referring too. What I am trying to tell you is you dont want either of those. You want the 2005 version. Either the 1242 or the 1222

You are right, I didnt seem him post it either. You know how it goes, when someone doesnt specify the amp, you just assume. Its all assumptions

Same here.A couple years ago i blew a pair of 12`s,took em back and got a brand new set, and they`ve been running every since,till bout 6 months ago*swapped em out*

Note the Type R IS FLAT OUT a better daily driving woofer... by alot. Nobody says anything when there is a w7 thread and someone pops in saying (insert woofer here) is better... even if they have 0 actual test results to show that.

Well, I've tested the R vs the SX in a few applications... the R is just better for cruisin around bumpin.

x2 on that one...type r's are good drivers, but you wont convince me that they are near the same as a SX...it is gonna take more than one guy doing one test on that

Ya sorry about that, my amp is a Rockford Fosgate 601s. 600rms @4 ohms bridged, 300 rms x2 @ 2 ohms, 150 rms x2 @4 ohms. If i didnt make it clear, i want to run 2 of these subs.

we've done tests with the SX 10's and 15's in multiple boxes.... hrm
