When have I compared the RE subs to the R? Why are you even asking me this question? What's your point?

Then why the f*ck are you busting my balls because the type-r/seXXX is louder?

You have absolutely no room to talk because you have ZERO experience with testing these three subs, so STFUGTFOKTHNXBYE

Even then, he still hasn't PERSONALLY compared the subs. He's just going off some test that someone else did, who just happened to get different results.

Excuse me for not getting the SAME results as the company who made the subs. Nobody is going to get the same results EVERY time. For all we know, the 10" sub may act differently than the 12/15" versions.

Well if i remember right you TRIED so hard to find something wrong with the Type R15 vs SX 15 test they did and your TRYING SO HARD again to disprove them. Its the cold hard facts man, they tried what they could with the SX and the type r still proved to be the louder, better sounding sub. You CANNOT dispute that.

Ive stated my concern with the test. Anyone reading can make their own decision from there (Im not making any conclusions here, only asking why this test varied so much from RE's). Clearly a few people here want to get defensive and attack me personally rather than simply accept what Ive said (that RE's test showed different... omg the sky must be falling!). Thank you for leaving my thread forever. Now maybe i can inform people of MY RESULTS instead of you going off because my numbers differ than what the company had. OMG, WHY AREN'T I GETTING THE SAME RESULTS?!?!?! I MUST BE DOING SOMETHING WRONG!!!

BTW, i edited my posts above to include the seXXX as well, because i knew you were comparing them. Even then, all of my posts are still relevant.

And if you had compared them, then why didn't you say something/post YOUR results? Hmm, my guess is because you HAVEN'T.

Even with tommy's comments towards me since, I still appreciate his posting his test results here. Too bad he had to act this about it. Well, i just got a little defensive, thats all. I'm sorry if my results weren't what you expected.

Also, a little tidbit i heard through other sources, the test david did was all in the same box, you for all we know the seXXX had the potential to get louder than it did.

Maybe, but hopefully RE tested the drivers in more than one box before they concluded the SX was superior in every way (SPL and SQ) and obsoleted the SeXXX. Look Im sorry if I ticked you off, Ive tried saying Im not bashing you or your test, but you gotta admit its strange a sub RE obsoleted for not getting as loud as their current SX, got nearly 2db's louder. That's all Ive been saying.

Maybe there was other issues involved in the decommission of the sub. And, as far as i know/have heard, all david did was swap out the seXXX's for SX's in his old car (wall with 2 15's and 2 or 4 35.1's) and got numbers.

If all RE did was have one of their people swap out subs in his car, then decided to scrap the SeXXX (along with the HC), I would be very disappointed in their testing department. hehe

Tell me you have heard the SEXXX, the SX, and the type R 10's in various boxes.... tell me you've metered them all in various locations around the car. Tell me you had plenty of power on tap to test the limits.

Did RE's test include 10's?? I sure hope it did... otherwise your posts = da useless.
