humm, i wounder how much better SQ could i get, since the Type R sounds so clean already, i guess sound quality comp level.



are you staying with the alpines, bigger subs or are you moving on to a difrent brand?

the premiers really dont need as much power as they say they do. id say that about 500 rms each would do them strong and if youre just looking so slam then thosll do the trick with liek a bx1205d.. but if you want more sq then go for the type rs..

i would go so far as to say that the rs would take power better than the 3000spls.. so giving a decent amount of power to each would be just fine

Rated Power @ 2 ohm: 800 x 1

Rated Power @ 1 ohm: 1200 x 1

So do i get a 2ohm or 4ohm type r casue i wont to wire it at 800 for awhile and then when i get used to it crank it up to the 1200. So 2 or 4 ohm?

You would get the DVC 2 ohm Type R, so you can get a final load of 1 ohm.

that makes no sense whatsoever.

btw, I am running two 2000SPL's off of 450 watts right now. They sound just fine and dandy and take it effortlessly.

im 100% positive pioneer's SPL subs are on the same scale as the Type-R's.

maybe u should use them before you post something useless like that.
