Just to be clear... this sub still kicks arse! I mean, I know for a FACT that I was pushing the MAX out of it for the whole 2 days. I mean, I should have went lighter with the gains, etc, but just like everyone else, too much is not enuff, and I pushed it very, very, very hard. As I said, I will do another Type R probably because it was just simply amazing sounding... so clear and smooth, just wont be able to shake houses 2 blocks away, maybe only 1 with the correct settings //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
I never said I was not at fault for this //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif I know I was.
Just wanted people to see that you need to be carefull with this stuff, its not like you just bought a 500W sub, with a 500W amp, and you can do whatever you want with it without any problems.
When you run 1000W (Rated by Alpine) to a 500W RMS sub, you cant crank the piss out of it to see how loud it will go.
Obviously //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif
It was for infomative purposes. Ive NEVER, EVER, EVER blown a sub in my life, till this one. But then again, ive never sent 2x the RMS wattage to one either. I guess this is just a learning experience, and im glad I had a $100 sub to do it with, not the standard $300+ subs I usually go for.
