The Official BTL vs HDC3 Thread

Well i run 3800W to my loaded 15" BTL and after a long wang session the dustcap would be a little warm to the touch, but i have personally NEVER smelled any coil whatsoever and looking through the basket vents the coil still has that shiny copper color to it, so i beleive it takes ite pretty nicely, just wondering if the HDC would do it better

i didnt blow my BTL, i broke the Tinsels, but the coils themselves were fine, so it reached its mechanical limits before its thermal limits and that can be solved Via Box

hdc3 is cheaper....and can take in the neighborhood of same power

I ran my BTL15 on an MTX TE4001 (3750rms), and a Memphis 4kw...
Had no problems with either...
