Really, where? lol I dont think Ive ever seen such a label. But there's been many times I knew I should be seeing it.
Those Made in America Toyota commercials, usually on during the SuperBowl, really annoy me. mostly because I know so many people believe them.

Ive seen "Designed in USA" on some boxes, I found it amusing. I mean, I really dont give a shit who designs them either as long as they can do what they claim.

The basket that all of these subwoofer share (American Bass, Audio Que, Elevation Audio, Konaki which is Seven Elephants, SPL Dynamics, & Zapco) is made in South Korea. Digital Designs tooled the basket but only paid for half the tooling giving the South Korean company the rights to sale the basket to any one else. The company that makes the baskets and the "knock off" subwoffers is the same company that builds amplifiers for American Bass, Audio Que, Digital Designs, SPL Dynamics and a new line from Zapco that is not due out yet. Bascialy these companies all have the same amplifiers as well.

(For example a SPL Dynamics D7 - American Bass 700.1, & DD Z2A are all the same and so on....)

The American Bass, Audio Que, Konaki, SPL Dynamics, & Zapco all have the same motors and baskets, the voice coils and spiders are different. (I do not know very much about the inside of the Elevation Audio subwoofer outside of the basket. I know that they do some in house building at there facility.)

i work at american bass. and theyre korean made not chinese. and yes matrxx is running them he hit 152 with them. pretty much any company u think of is made over seas.

Hmmm, whats the manufacturer for DD and so on? I was under the impression that it was zenon since there were so many replicas out there, much like the zenon based amps.
The american bass 500.1 is the same as the spl dynamics D5, fyi (as well as numerous other amps). If the D5 is made by zenon, one would assume that the AB amps are made by zenon as well.

This amp cost 10 bucks but one exactly like it from another company is 50 bucks.

I did see where DJL(owner of AQ) say his amps/subs come from Korea. The same buildhouse DD uses for there amps.
