Well all I can say is that I am at the Sinsheim show here in Sinsheim Germany and the company that builds amplifiers said that they make a few of the subwoofers for some of the companies in this thread..... As of a matter of a fact, I was talking to Seppo at the South Korean companies booth just today. So, either I miss understood about the basket or something else then.. I will claw my way through the smoke in the hall and ask them tomarrow then.....

Its all Chinese $hit to me. The spyders may be different but I doubt by materials. Coils could be Taiwan or Chinese. From the thread I seen with 3000rms daily on a HDC and it burnt, I would say those coils are Chinese. The biggest coil the Chinese make will be safe at only 2500 rms MAYBE little more, but they will only tell you 2500 rms. Hmmmmmmmmmmmmm........

i dont know about 2500rms max on the coils. we have a guy in cleveland with 2 AB 500.1s on 1 hd 15 and it still hasnt blown and its been hooked up for a 4 months now. so im sure all these subs will take alot of abuse no matter whos company theyre from.
