The most stupid thing you have done during an Install?

I LOVE THE WRENCH INCIDENTS!!!
I was fixing a loose terminal connection on one of my batteries (with engine running) and dropped a small cresent wrench as i was coming back out. That FUC**R landed in the pullys/belts and shot out like a bullet!! Thankfully landed safely in the water..
I have done that. I was changing a buddies battery out, and was tightening down the + and the wrench slipped, and instantly welded itself to the strut tower brace. It was good and solid too, I had to use a rubber mallet to break it off.

I was working on a costimers car and asked my coworker to take the fuse out of the mane wire uop front he went up and opened the hood and then left I had my head in the trunk and looked up to see if he tooke the fuse out and seen the hood open and asoomed he did well I was hooking the power from the amp with a anlinkey and it touched the side of the amp and stuck to becuase it got so hot and it gave me a 2nd digree burn in the shape of a alinkey needless to say I take the fuse out myself now

doing electrical work for a living, ive thankfully never been hit with 277 (what you took) but ive gotten several very good 110 hits going arm to arm. its a fantastic chest workout if you dont mind possible irregular heart beats and/or dying //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
but,, I have taken a hard 110 and the 240 didnt seem much more drastic (yea a bit more but nothing signifigant (maybe we never learn)

But is not the reason for this,, that although the voltage is higher, the amperage is not proportionally higher??

Just a question. And something i should probably be invastigating more Instead of CA.com. considering i have to fix Ex-Girlfriends electrical next week (in Sweden)

i've been an electrician for over 8 years now and have seen my fair share of hits of live lines. worst was a year ago while building a new hotel, i was working in a 400 amp 480 volt 3 phase panel and got touched by the hand of god. buddy of mine came in and i took my eyes away from what i was doing. luckily i hit two of the bus bars in the panel with the same hand, but boy did it lock my body up. actually did it twice within like 2 minutes of eachother.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif funny how you learn...hehe

and PICS!!!!//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fro.gif.c695f1f814b01c4ad99fe7f8cccadd29.gif I wanna see the free brands you got!!! Maybe you gould be a rep for the company,,, if they are burnt in the shape of their logo!!

Lol.....my POS xploder amp was taking up space in my single cab lol so i haf eveything right and jammed the seat over it and bolted it down.....it was too the point u couldnt move the seat back or forward and I cut it on to find out my remote wire was cut by something under the seat......So I just threw the amp back where it was

i took my battery terminals off my second battery and the positive run got pushed onto the negative post and caused a lot of sparks. i have a speckled yt now where all the metal sparks melted into the plastic, and some on the back of my seat...

voltage actually isn't as big a factor in the severity of a shock as people think... it's amperage that gets you. it only takes 50 miliamps to make your heart go into defibrillation and kill you... it's about the same as what it takes to light up the bulb in your microwave. more people die off 110v than any other voltage...

i was working on this chicks car and she wanted me to run an extra rca wire to the back

well of course the shop would make me charge extra, but she told me she would blow me if i would do it for free

her husband was up front looking at stereos for his car so i said sure WTF and pulled down my shorts

well being me i wasnt satisfied with just a blow and she was getting horny as well so i flip her around, pulled down her pants and bent her over my snap on toolbox

i am hittin it hard, even smacked her *** a few times and called her butch, but then her husband walks in from browsing around and catches us and starts to laugh(no his name wasnt butch)

he asks her if she mentioned she had the HIV and she said "oops i forgot in all the passion"

so now i have the HIV and that sucks, but i think it was worth it cause i busted a nut inside her just as her hubby walked in and she ended up getting preggo and he is raising my child
