The monster has arrived pix!!

Should be ready to fire up the amp in a few days //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Really the hardest part of doing a recone imo is cleaning of da basket. Having a chisel, hammer, screwdriver and some type of grinding wheel like a dremel or drill have all been musts in my experience so far. It's imparitive that you get a nice clean surface for you to glue the spiders and foam down.

I've seen and met some folks that use clips and clamps to help but(as per DJ's instruction) I just use hand pressure and activator. Don't be afraid of using to little glue on the spider landing it sucks azz when it lets go. LOL

Good luck

Almost forgot use gloves when glueing. Takes days to get it off your hands. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

this amp is a beast.. I am running it at 2 ohms right now, until I get my second 18.. Still got more 0 guage wire, and a batt on the way... Until that arrives, my electrical wont handle this amp at full tilt, even at 2 ohms very well..

Will keep this updated as more stuff arrives..

did you get alum, or copper?
and 9.5 cubes is on the small side for the pair of 18s
Havent got the other 18 in yet, so just one right now.. That was the alum coil. As for the box, these subs do well in small boxes. They can play well in as low as 4.5 cubes net each sub.

ive heard alot of good shit about these amps i almost ended up with one but i didnt have the money at the time, my friends have these amps. theyre good shit, i wanna **** your amp in the ***

They are nice amps indeed.. I was lucky to get my hands on this amp, as there are only 100 made, and they are discontinued.

Y'know, I've always wanted to run a pair of 18"s in the back of my Marquis. I'm curious about the enclosure are the subs up firing and the port back? Port area?
Subs firing up, port back. 120+ sq or so of port area.
