JL Audio 500 / 1 Amp Powering Solo-baric L7 12

I had a JL Audio Mono block amp powering a solo baric L7 12 and the amp blew out...trying to find another amp to power the sub, I also need at least 750 rms....any ideas or suggestions...thanks...

I forgot, but I was looking at the Kicker 1500 / 1, what you think?

That should do it for you as long as you don't wire it up at 1 ohm final. Then again, 2 ohm power will be 1500 watts RMS and 4 ohm power would be 750 watts RMS, so I think you are covered either way.
