u shud get lyk 3 w7s n 2 caps cuz i hrd dat plexi glas wil make ur alternator charge more amps 2 ur subz n the cap acts like ur battery cept n the bak n shit, i jus think that wud hit.

Bro for the coin your going to drop on it you can buy a couple of those 15's its suppose to be louder than. Don't get me wrong. The W7 is a great woofer and can get loud but there is better out that can get you louder for a lot cheaper if that is your goal. What were you planning on spending on it?

13W7 is loud, but cost a lot. I spent 500 on one with a ported enclosure. Buy it if your a rich Snitch. If not go with something else.

Nice sub. It was ahead of its time back in the day. But now, it's been topped time and time again. For half the price.

Really? Got any links or anything? I'm not saying you're wrong. It's just that I hear this kind of stuff and I haven't read any real comparison reviews or articles by any reputable sources that confirm this.

When you only hear it from some cats on a site like this one who obviously have their own gear they are proud of, and who obviously won't justify spending that much on a sub, it's not hard (at least for me) to discount those kind of statements. Again, I'm not saying JL is God. I would seriously just like to read from some reputable sources where it's been compared in a controlled environment and outperformed by much cheaper alternatives.

if you can back up what you're saying with those kind of reviews/comparisons/articles, please do. Thanks in advance.

Well, I decided to get it...ONLY COST ME $150 with box and was in tip top condition. Only if I had an amp though. This thing gets very loud, but could get louder if I had a stronger amp.
