Hmm, been with her for four years, married last september. How we do it is, I play what I want in my car, she plays what she wants in her car. Good thing we take mine most of the time.

After considering it, I myself would like some new equipment, I might have to let her mess with it a little.

3 minutes???? i live in new orleans and at about 5 o'clock we got this thing called traffic and aint no tellin how long you sitting there for so if i had the option to listen to her crap for 3 min i would hop all up on that deal but try about 45 min to an hour of mariah carey hittin a hi note screaming about butterflies and shiit

fair enough, then just take it out and say i want to hear this for a bit then just put her cd in after you listen to what you want for a bit. or better yet just break up with her so she can get with someone who stereo isnt the focal point of their lives.

My EX could never figure out how to use my Alpine 9815. She had no common sense about what the buttons could and would do and she'd end up ****ing my settings up.

and we all kno how tedious it is to access the setup menus...

I don't think I've ever read such a hilarious thread. I'd have to say that if you get that mad over a g/f touching the deck then do 1 of 2 things, 1) teach her how to have respect and a compromise of the music (women always talk about compromise so use it against them ). or 2) get over yourself and grow up. Honestly it isn't that bad but can you honestly say that if you're in her car and she's driving you don't touch the stereo once??

or we do appreciate our g/f's a lot. maybe you guys or girls are dating idiots. i happen to have a g/f that i think has no intrest in touching my stereo but when she did she almost broke it , then i told her why and it never happened again. COMMMMMUNITATION. just tell her what to do or not to do. how was she supposed to know that when the disk tray flashes its about to close?
