Well, I started the build 3 or 4 days ago. Man did it take a long time to rip all that shit out of my car and lay down the RaamMat. Here's where I'm at today. Today, I'm trying to mount my SS tweeters in the door, finishing the trim pieces, and going to get some felt to cover them in, and some plexi to cover the amp rack.

BEFORE YOU SCROLL DOWN I NEED SOME HELP!!!!

I'm going to run my SS comps active off my 9855 and zx650.4. I just need some good starting points for crossover settings so I don't blow anything up, and I can fine tune from there. Thsi is my first active setup I have run.

On to the pics.

Now the interior came out. I didn't snap too many pictures of this process, but you get the idea.

I would start at the crossover points of the passives //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

I've been trying to find them and I can't. The manual only states the entire frequency range, not the crossover pts.

whatd you use to cover the big holes in your doors?
I put two layers of RaamMat backwards on the inside of the door, then two layers over the holes on the outside. Sealed it up really well, and was much easier than using sheetmetal/plexi.

How much time do you think you spent deadning the floor? What was the hardest part of it
I'd say the hardest part is where I'm at now - making it all fit and look right so it's not a shitty looking install. The deadning was easy....just alot of labor. I think I started at about noon and worked til 8 or 9. That got both doors done, inside done and put back together, and trunk ripped out.

Mounting my tweeters is turning out to be a ***** too. There is absolutley no room in my mirror-bolt covers on the doors to mount them. Since I don't want to fiberglass, I think I'm going to mount them on some sheetmetal and hot glue them into place, then wrap speakergrille cloth over them. Should give it a factory look and be fairly stable/durable. Getting good imaging is going to take forever though //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif

Any ideas on the crossover pts anyone? I want to hook up the 4 channel so I can hear what I'm doing while I'm mounting the tweeters!
