Worst case scenario you ask to hook em up and hear them before you seal the deal on the trade.. But since you already pulled the trigger what do you think? What box are you working with?

A dual box with separate vents. Each chamber is roughly 1.8cu after speaker displacement. The box is tuned @33 hz. I haven't made the trade but I do know that I'm keeping my box since his is an atrend pre fab and mine is custom no carpet. the wood is smooth but I got the bare look so one of my boys can paint some designs on it.

I sold my type r's for more than I pad from amazon... I have 2 pioneer champion pro's sitting in my garage. Kind of my fault for not trying to sell them though.. I'm trying to trade them for some mids or full component set.

Both woofers hit great....I prefer the sound of Type R's over the Pioneers.

The type r kills my pioneer! I am pleased with the trade. I have a trailblazer and the air generated by those type r's feels like my a.c. is on.

His subs are only a couple months old, plus he had 1000 mb quart amp on them. I know the owner of the alpine's, he was gonna completely sell his system but he sold other electronics(Ps3,t.v.'s etc......) because he needs rent money. He's still a little short but I don't care
